No Doubt About His Quality

An impressive winner on debut a few weeks prior over 1200m at Kembla Grange, four-year-old Not A Single Doubt entire No Doubt ‘returned to the scene of the crime’, and repeated the result, taking out the Woonona Bulli RSL Class 1 Handicap to remain unbeaten.

Settling at the tail of the field with Kerrin McEvoy in the saddle, No Doubt travelled where he was comfortable, allowing the front runners to ensure there was a solid tempo set up.

Tracking Clarry Conners’ last start winner On The Spot, McEvoy allowed No Doubt to work into the race before the home turn, finding himself as the widest runner as the field cornered into the final bend.

Asked for an effort, No Doubt responded with ease, working past On The Spot before pulling away with plenty in reserve to record a length and a quarter victory as the race favourite.

Showing improvement from his debut victory, No Doubt has continued to step up, and the stable are extremely excited about the prospects of the talented galloper who has maintained his unbeaten record for owners Anthony Cummings Thoroughbreds Pty Ltd, Dr C M Rogers, Mrs B M Freeman and Mr D J Freeman.

Purchased from the draft of Arrowfield Stud at the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale for just $80,000, No Doubt is out of the American-bred Alalunga from the family of Group 1 winners Jackson, Sky Classic, Always A Classic, Dance Smartly, Moreno and Dancethruthedawn to name a few.

“This is amazing. We had a friend who died a couple of years ago, and we said we would get a horse and name it after him. His name was Mark and his second was Fawaz, so that is where Prince Fawaz comes from.
