MOQUEEN STEALS THE SHOW AT THE 2018 INGLIS CHAIRMANS SALE

Apr 24, 2018

It was a big day for the connections of Moqueen at the 2018 Inglis Chairman’s Sale as the daughter of Uncle Mo was bought by Andrew Williams Bloodstock for $600,000.

The 2015 Gold Coast Magic Millions Yearling was knocked down to the Cummings team in Sale Book 2 where the Uncle Mo x Money Begets Money filly then made her way to Leilani Lodge for a pale $47,000.

As a racehorse she had success as a 3YO winning the 2016 Listed Dulcify Quality (1600m) before finishing a close fourth in the Ethereal Stakes behind multiple G3 winner Eleonora (NZ) and G2 Wakeful Stakes winner Tiamo Grace. She also placed in the ReislingStakes (1200m) as a 2yo at only her second start.

Moqueen now heads to the breeding barn as her pedigree shines through with the likes of Criterion, Comin’ Through, Malice, Silently and Varenna Miss all closely related. A result such as this is what we strive for a Cummings Racing, returning profits to owners with strong pedigrees and race track success. The team have been very active throughout the 2018 yearling sales so make sure you contact Anthony and Edward to find out how you can be a part of the next success story of Cummings Racing.
