Cummings Racing is always active throughout the annual yearling sales and tomorrow will see the Wandjina/Maslins Beach filly make her debut at Randwick. The Gr3 Gimcrack Stakes over the  1000m is a great barometer to see which 2YO's fillies are progressing early and who may be seen in the Autumn when these juveniles really get serious. #HONEYGOLIGHTLY has really stepped up to the mark and was impressive in her trial winning over the 849m. Anthony and Edward have always had a high opinion of the filly and Edward recently commented about her debut "she has drawn barrier 2 and done really well since the trial. She had a good gallop on the course proper Tuesday morning with an older horse NO DOUBT and held her own which is a pleasing sign for a young horse as they came up in slick time. There is no reason why she can't replicate her trial performance and will more than likely improve on it with the juice in the track only assisting her. I'm really pleased with her and confident of a good performance. Fingers crossed".

MIZZY is still a maiden but this won’t stop her from having a red hot crack in the Gr1 Flight Stakes at Randwick tomorrow. The Zoustar filly is right where she needs to be in her campaign and with a tune up in the Gr3 Spring Stakes at Newcastle this trip looks to suit. She was painfully close in the Gr3 Ming Dynasty before being stretched out to the mile in preparing for the this. Anthony and Edward couldn’t be happier with her and hopefully she is rewarded for her consistency and will to win.
